The exam was held for the admission of candidates in MD, MS or postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy courses.
The expected date for the release of AIAPGET 2020 result is by November 12, 2020. NTA has not specified any date for the announcement of the result. However, last year, it was declared 45 days after the exam. Hence, it is expected that the result for AIAPGET 2020 will be out in the mid of November 2020.
To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website. On the homepage of the official website, aspirants must locate the “AIAPGET 2020 Results” and click on it. In the result window that opens, candidates must enter their examination roll number (the one mentioned in the AIAPGET 2020 Admit Card), date of birth and the security pin mentioned below.
After filling in the particulars, they must click on the ‘submit’ option to see their exam results. Candidates are instructed to download their results and take a print out of the marksheet cum result certificate to be used for the counselling sessions. They must also bear in mind that NTA shall not give any provision of re-checking or re-evaluation after releasing the results.
The AIAPGET 2020 results shall only be valid for the current academic year 2020-21. This is the single entrance exam conducted every year across the country for admission to PG courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. This exam is valid for All India seats for admission to all AYUSH affiliated universities and colleges in the country. The exam results are also valid for state quota seats across the country in AYUSH deemed institutions. It is also important to note that AYUSH colleges are not permitted to conduct any other entrance exam for the admission purpose. AIAGPET 2020 is the only valid exam that shall be considered for admitting students.
NTA shall release one All India merit list for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy streams. NTA shall also assign an All India Rank (AIR) for each candidate based on the marks secured in the entrance exam. In case two or more candidates score the same marks, NTA shall use the tie-breaker criteria to assign a different rank to each candidate. In the tie-breaker system, candidate with a smaller number of negative responses in AIAPGET 2020 is given a higher rank. If the tie still remains, the candidate who scores more marks in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS shall be given a better rank. In case the tie remains, older candidate gets a higher rank. NTA conducted the AIAGPET 2020 exam in September 2020 and results for the same shall be declared soon.
