MHT CET 2018 Result To Be Out On 3rd June – Know How to Check Your Result

After many reports suggesting that the MHT CET 2018 Result to be declared today on June 02, 2018, the CET commissioner, Anand Rayate puts an end to all the speculations as per a TOI report. He says, “I will get the result this evening and once I go through it, I will instruct our agency to put it up for candidates to view it tomorrow.” Thus, MHT CET 2018 Result will be now available on June 3, 2018, on the official website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra i.e. dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

Although on the official website, it is mentioned that the MHT CET 2018 Result will be declared on or before June 3, 2018. Therefore, candidates can keep a track of Result announcement here.

MHT CET 2018 Result

The DTE is releasing the MHT CET 2018 results in the online mode only. The sources have confirmed the release date being June 3, Sunday, but have not confirmed the time when it will be released. To check the Result of MHT CET 2018, candidates have to keep handy their Registration Number. As and when the results are announced candidates have to log in using their registration number and date of birth. Next, the result appears on the screen. Candidates are advised to keep a print out of the result safe until the admission process comes to an end.

After the declaration of results, DTE Maharashtra will conduct the counselling rounds. According to the ranks of the candidates, they will be called to attend the counselling rounds. In the counselling spot, candidates have to appear in person to complete the admission related formalities and document verification.

This year a total of 4,35,606 candidates registered for the examination. Out of which maximum candidates are from Pune region, followed by Mumbai and Nashik region. Whereas last year nearly 3.89 lakh candidates registered for the exam of which 3.76 appeared.

The examination was conducted on May 10, 2018. Those candidates who were seeking admission to engineering and technology degree courses had to appear for both, paper 1 and paper 2. The candidate seeking admission to pharmacy/ pharm.D degree course had to appear for paper 2 as well as in paper 1 and/or paper 3. Approximately 20% weightage was given to class 11 syllabus while the major focus was on class 12 syllabus, which was near about  80%.

Candidates who will qualify the examination will be able to secure admission in colleges like College of Engineering (Pune), Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (Mumbai), Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (Mumbai), Pune Institute of Computer Technology (Pune), Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (Wadala), Maharashtra Institute of Technology (Pune), Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (Mumbai), Walchand College of Engineering (Sangli).
