The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) Round 2 Counselling process ends today. Candidates can fill their choices by 11:55 p.m., today, February 11, 2022 at mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG Counselling is done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). There are a total of 11,629 seats. Candidates can fill their choices based on their specialisation and their states of preference. Candidates can choose to apply to any number of colleges. The seat allotment will be done based on the selected choices, vacancies and reservation policies.
Steps involved in Choice Filling and Locking
Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Registration’ link at the centre of the page.
Step 3: Enter NEET PG Roll Number, password and security pin to login.
Step 4: Once logged in, candidates can fill and lock their choices.

Once the registration window closes, the verification takes place on February 11 and 12. The seat allotment processing will take place n February 13 and 14. The results will be announced on February 15, following which the candidates should report to the allotted college/ university from February 16 to 22, 2022. The Round 2 Counselling is done for candidates who have qualified the NEET PG exam, but have not registered or reported in the Round 1 Counselling. During the counselling process, candidates will have to submit their documents for verification.

The NEET PG Counselling process is done is 4 rounds. Round 1 Counselling was done in the month of January 2022. The Round 3 Counselling is likely to begin by February 28. There will be a final Stray Vacancy Round, which will begin on March 16, 2022.
