Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has announced the result for Manipur HSE examination 2020 on July 17, 2020 at around 1:00 PM. The students can view their Manipur HSE result online at cohsem.nic.in and manresults.nic.in. This year, a total of 29,144 number of students appeared for the Manipur class 12th exam.
Archana Hijam emerged as the topper of Manipur HSE examination 2020 from Science stream by obtaining 485 marks. In the Commerce stream, the first position is bagged by Justina Yendrembam by securing 448 marks. In the Arts stream, the first position is bagged by Khomdram Menaka Devi with a total of 464 marks.
To check Manipur HSE result, first, go to the official website. Next, search the relevant link of Manipur HSE result. Then, enter the roll number in the login window. After entering the details, click on the ‘submit’ button. After clicking on the submit button, the result will be displayed on the screen. Finally, either take the screenshot of the result or download it and take its printout.
Now that the result has been declared online, those who have passed the examination can collect their original mark sheet from their respective school. The students need to report at their school as per the schedule, however, it is advised to the students to call their school authorities regarding this.
In order to be pass Manipur Board 12th exams, students will need to get 33 per cent marks in all the subjects. Students need to score 33 per cent marks individually in practical and theory exams. Students who fail to secure minimum passing marks in one or two subjects will need to appear for the compartment exam.
This year, some papers of Manipur HSE were postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease in the country. Recently, on July 06 and 07, the remaining papers of Manipur class 12th were conducted.
Last year, more than 28,000 students appeared for Manipur HSE examination. The overall passing percentage last year was 73.83%. The pass percentage for the students who belonged to the Science stream was 74.87%. The students who belonged to the Commerce stream had the pass percentage of 66.62%. The arts stream had a total pass percentage of 71.59%.
