Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited, commonly referred to as BECIL is inviting applications for recruitment to the post of System Administrator. The PSU organization has published a detailed recruitment advertisement on the official website becil.com. As per the recruitment notification, there is a single opening for the aforementioned post in the National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) Bengaluru/KGF/NIRM project sites. The last date of receipt of offline applications is August 01, 2020.
BECIL is hiring one candidate for the post of System Administrator. The selected candidate is to be posted at the NIRM head office in Bangalore. Candidates within the maximum age limit of 38 years are eligible to apply. In terms of the minimum educational qualifications, candidates must have a 1st class degree of B.E/ B. Tech/MCA/MSc in CS. In addition, the candidate is required to have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in handling of Linux, Apache, and Database Server. Candidates must also have experience in the management of Database, Web, Application, and Mail Servers. It is desirable that applicants have experience in web application development. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a remuneration of Rs 50 to 60 thousand (monthly) for a contract period of 6 months. The contract period is however likely to be extended further. It is mandatory for applicants to have a Redhat certification.
Candidates are to be selected through the interview method. The shortlisting of eligible applicants for the interview is based on the criteria of the information provided in the applications, evaluation of the candidate’s CV, and other supportive documents. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of such above-mentioned criteria are eligible to appear in the selection interviews.
The application process is offline and candidates need to send the hard copies of the application form along with specified documents to the recruitment authorities. The application form must be completely filled up with details of the email, contact number, and address for correspondence. In addition, candidates have to fill up details regarding qualifications and experience in the designated spaces in the application form. Besides sending the hard copies of the application, supporting documents, and fee receipt, candidates are also required to email the scanned copies of such documents to [email protected] on or before the last date.
An application fee of Rs 500 must be paid by all General and OBC category candidates. However, for SC/ST and PH candidates, the application fee is Rs 250. The payment of fees must be done through Demand Draft drawn in favor of BECIL and payable at Bangalore. The receipt copy of the draft must be sent to the authorities by post and the scanned copy must also be sent through email to the aforementioned email id. Once the candidates have filled up the application form and paid the registration fees, copies of the same, along with the necessary documents must be sent to Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited, Regional Office, #162, 1st Cross, 2nd Main, AGS Layout, RMV 2nd stage, Bangalore- 560094 by the last date.
