Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Authority is inviting applications for the recruitment of technical consultants in 2020. PPV & FR Authority has advertised 02 openings for the post of Consultant (Technical). The vacancies are to be filled up by eligible and qualifying candidates on a contract basis. After selection of the eligible candidates, finally shortlisted applicants are to be appointed at the aforementioned post for a specified contractual period. The contract period of appointment is scheduled to end on March 31, 2021. Eligible candidates are advised to visit the website and go through a detailed recruitment advertisement before proceeding to apply for the aforementioned recruitment.
The Authority has specified the minimum educational qualifications, experience required, and the maximum age limit of the applicants as the minimum eligibility conditions. Applicants must not exceed the maximum age limit of 65 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Such candidates must have a Ph.D. in genetics & Plant Breeding to apply for the post of Consultant (Technical). In addition to compliance with the minimum educational qualification and the maximum age limit, candidates must also have relevant experience of 10 years to apply for the aforementioned recruitment. As specified before, selected candidates are to be appointed to the vacant positions on a contractual basis. During the tenure of service, such candidates are entitled to receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs 45,000. Although the contract period is limited, there are chances that the period can be extended based on the performance of the candidate in the position of Consultant (Technical).
