The Maharashtra MTS and Postman exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The questions for MTS post are of 10th class level. Questions asked in Postman 2020 exam is based on 12th standard. There will be three papers – competitive CBT, Qualifying local language test and Data Entry Skill Test. First, candidates have to appear for the CBT that is conducted for 90 minutes. Candidates are asked to attempt 100 MCQ that are available in English, Hindi and respective local language. Candidates have to score minimum 40% marks in order to qualify the CBT exam.
The second paper is to test the local language, which is qualifying in nature. This exam is conducted in offline mode. There will be multiple-choice questions as well as some subjective questions. Candidates will be given 45 minutes to solve questions carrying 60 marks. Applicants have to obtain minimum 40% marks (Unreserved) to qualify the exam. The last stage is the Data Entry Skill Test. It is the qualifying exam. Candidates have to attempt questions online at the given computer. They will be provided 20 minutes to solve the questions related to Data entry Skill. Those who secure a minimum of 75% marks (Unreserved) are declared qualified.
