Today, September 07, 2021, is the last date to register for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2021 examination. Maharashtra State Examination Council has given time up to 11:59 pm today to complete all the registration formalities including the payment of application fee. The eligibility test is scheduled to begin on October 10, 2021. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download their MAHA TET 2021 admit cards from September 25, 2021. Authorities will be releasing admit cards on the official portal mahatet.in.
The State Examination Council began the MAHA TET 2021 registration process from July 03, 2021, and will conclude the same today at 11:59 pm. Candidates interested in applying for the exam have a day’s time to apply for the exam on the official portal mahatet.in.
Aspirants are advised to fill the application form carefully, ensuring that all information entered in the form is authentic and accurate. Authorities will not be providing any separate correction facility to rectify the application. This is another reason why candidates must fill the application form with utmost care, especially within such a limited amount of time.
As for candidates who have successfully registered for the MAHA TET 2021 examination, the next step is to download their admit cards. According to the schedule updated on the official portals, candidates can expect their admit cards to release on September 25, 2021. They are expected to download the hall tickets on or before October 10, 2021, to appear for the eligibility exam. In the absence of admit card, a candidate will not be permitted to appear for the exam. Hence, they must download or take a printout of the admit cards without any unnecessary delay.
MAHA TET 2021 is divided into two parts or papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be conducted on October 10, 2021, from 10:30 to 1:00 pm. Thereafter, Paper II shall be held on the same day, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The first paper is meant for classes 1-5 while the second paper is meant for classes 6-8.
Paper I will test a candidate’s knowledge in subjects such as English, Marathi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Campus Study and Pedagogy. Similarly, the second paper will be testing a candidate’s knowledge base and intellect in terms of subjects like English, Marathi, Pedagogy and Child Psychology, Social Science and Mathematics. Candidates who qualify this exam will be deemed eligible to teach in primary and secondary level schools within the state.
