State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra, has announced the dates of MAH LLB 3 Years CET 2020. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 26, 2020, which is Sunday. The online procedure of filling the application form will start from March 19, 2020 and will end on May 06, 2020.
Once the application procedure is over, eligible candidates will receive the admit card. Candidates can download the MAH LLB 3 years CET 2020 admit cards on June 05, 2020. Those who are willing to pursue their career in law in the state of Maharashtra, has to clear MAH Law CET.
It is mandatory that candidates appearing in the exam has a graduation degree cleared with aggregate 45% marks. Relaxation in passing percentage is provided to the candidates belonging to other categories. Those who are from SC and ST category need 40% marks in graduation whereas candidates from SBC, OBC and VJNT require 42% marks.
Law aspirants who have completed their education from open university are not eligible to apply for MAH LLB 3 years. Last year candidates from general category paid Rs 800 as the application fee and the candidates beloging t backward classes paid Rs 400. The fee structure might remain same or may change for this year, candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website.
Exam for MAH LLB 3 years is conducted online, it has one paper of 150 marks, that comprises of four sections. Section of legal aptitude and legal reasoning is of 30 marks and each question carry 01 mark. Second section, which is general knowledge & current affairs has 40 questions of 40 marks, which means each question is of 01 mark. 30 questions with 30 marks are allotted to third section, logical and analytical reasoning. Fourth section which is English, carries 50 marks, it has 50 questions, each of 01 mark.
All the questions asked in the exam are multiple choice questions and no negative marking is done for wrong answers. Candidates get 2 hours to finish the paper and the questions will be asked in Marathi and English.
It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination hall, along with one ball point pen and original photo ID, it could either be the aadhar card, driving license, recent college ID or the PAN card. Candidates should keep in mind that only the original photo ID is allowed, those who will carry the soft copy will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
After the exam is over, candidates can expect the result for MAH LLB 3 years to be declared by July 14, 2020 and the CAP process may commence from July 21, 2020.
