MAH Integrated BA/B.Sc B.Ed CET 2020 exam date out; Exam to be held on 20 May

Unlike the B.Ed program for candidates after graduation, the integrated program is open for class 12 pass candidates, and saves one year.

MAH - B.A/B.Sc B.Ed CET-2020

State Common Entrance Test Cell, CET has announced the examination date for the year 2020. The entrance exam for the integrated program of BA/B.Sc and B.Ed, the MAH BA/B.Sc B.Ed CET 2020, will be held on May 20, 2020. 

Along with the exam date, CET cell has also released under the notice the dates for the online registration. Eligible candidates would be able to apply online from March 13, 2020. The last date of receipt of the application form is April 13, 2020, keeping the window to apply online open for 1 month. 

For the students who have registered for the online examination, the admit card for the MAH BA/B.Sc B.Ed CET 2020, will be made available from May 14, 2020, on the official website of the government of Maharashtra which is mahacet.org. Result will be announced on June 8, 2020. CAP process shall commence thereafter.

Compared to exam date of last year, this year the exam is being conducted sooner. Last year the exam was held on May 27 registration was opened on February 22 , and ended on March 26. Then admit card was released on May 14, and the result was declared on June 10. 

MAH BA/B.Sc B.Ed CET is a state level examination conducted every year. This exam leads to admission in the first year of the four years full-time integrated graduate degree course. One can get enrolled either in BA-BEd or B.Sc-BEd. Aspirants through this exam can get the admission to government and private colleges of Maharashtra. 

As per the last year brochure, for applying to MAH BA/B.Sc B.Ed CET, a candidate must have a domicile of Maharashtra state and must be an Indian national. Along with this, the form was also open for those who have cleared class 12th with at least 45% in aggregate. It must be noted, those who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for this exam. 

Moreover, last year the application fee was Rs. 800 for the general category, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and J&K candidates and for the backward class categories like SC, ST, NT (A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC and SEBC was Rs. 400. 

According to the last year pattern, this exam consists of 3 sections namely general knowledge, mental ability and teaching aptitude. Have a total of 100 multiple choice questions of 100 marks. Exam takers got a total time duration of 90 minutes for completing the paper set in marathi and english language. 

As per now, only the exam dates have been announced and released at mahacet.org. This is the official website and one can refer to the only website for any further information regarding the exam, or its information brochure.
