State Common Entrance Test Cell, CET of Maharashtra has announced the major dates regarding the exam dates for the year 2020. In total CET Cell announced the exam dates of 8 subjects out which one is MAH M.Ed CET 2020. The exam will be conducted on May 26, 2020. MAH M.Ed CET 2020 is the exam for the admission to the first year of two year full time postgraduate degree course in education.
As dates announced on the official, online registration of the application form will start from March 17, 2020, and will close on April 8, 2020. For the registered candidates, CET cell will publish the admit card for the registered candidates on May 2, 2020, on its official website at mahacet.org.
MAH M.Ed CET 2020 will be an online examination whose result will be declared on June 11, 2020, as per the announcement made on the official notice released. The result will be declared in scorecard and candidates would be able to check the scorecard by entering the registration number and roll number.
State CET cell requires that to be eligible to apply for the exam, one should be an Indian citizen and have obtained at least 50% marks in B.Ed, B.El.Ed, BA-BEd, B.Sc-B.Ed. As per the notice, the passing percentage is 45% for the SC, ST, NT (A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC and SEBC candidates. However, those who are in their final year may also appear in the exam. Candidates would be able to submit their candidature through mahacet.org.
Last time the application fee for application form was Rs. 1000 for open category candidates, outside Maharashtra state (OMS) and J&K candidates. And for the reserved category candidates like the OBC, SC, ST, SBC and SEBC the same was Rs. 500. The fee could be paid through online mode using internet banking, credit card, debit card and mobile wallets.
As per the last year exam pattern, CET cell conducts an online examination consisting of 5 sections. These are of educational philosophy and sociology, educational psychology, educational evaluation and statistics, school administration and management and lastly of information and communication technology. The questions are of objective type having multiple choices. The total paper is of 100 marks having 100 questions, needed to be completed in 90 minutes or 1.5 hours. The exam carries no negative marking and is set in marathi and english.
For the exam centers, CET cell selects the cities in Maharashtra state only to conduct the examination. Candidates must visit the official website for any further information related to the exam and instruction, at mahacet.org.
