The LBS Center for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram successfully conducted the Kerala SET 2022 exam today i.e on January 09, 2022.
The state level eligibility test was held in two sessions. First one was from 10.0am to 12.00pm in which candidates attempted paper 1. And the second session was from 2 pm to 4 pm in which they attempted paper 2. As per reports, more than 20,000 candidates appeared for the LBS set 2022 exam held at various affiliated centers across the state. Paper 1 was common for all the applicants whereas Paper 2 was based on the subject of choice of every applicant.
Both Paper 1 and 2 were conducted for 2 hours each. 120 questions were framed for 120 marks in both the papers. Question papers were available in two primary languages: English and Malayalam. Exams were held in 14 districts at multiple affiliated test centers across the state.
Paper 1 consisted of questions framed on General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching. Questions asked in paper 2 were based on the optional (31 subjects) subject of the candidate’s choice. Each question had one correct response from the four available options. Marking scheme for the examination was simple as it is. + 1 mark will be awarded for every correct attempt whereas unattempted questions will be given 0 marks. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
LBS Kerala SET 2022 Answer Key
Due to the objective nature of the exam, LBS releases the provisional and final answer keys for Kerala SET exam. The official answer keys take some time before releasing on the official website of LBS at lbsedp.lbscentre.in. However many subject experts and tutors post unofficial answer keys on various social media platforms online. Most of them find YouTube a viable option to post the answer keys. These subject experts not only provide answers but also conduct exam analysis for the better understanding of exams. Applicants can search for these unofficial answers keys soon after the exam gets over.
When will official answer key of Kerala SET 2022 be released?
Last year the LBS center released the Kerala SET provisional answer keys a day after the exam. Further applicants were invited to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The process lasted for 4 days and the final answer keys. Thus it is expected that for this exam, LBS Kerala will release SET 2022 answer key (provisional) either today or tomorrow i.e. by January 10, 2022. Applicants are advised to keep an eye on the official website of LBS at lbsedp.lbscentre.in .
Kerala SET 2022 Qualifying Marks
It is mandatory for all the applicants to score minimum qualifying marks in order to qualify the exam. The minimum qualifying marks is set by the LBS center. It is mentioned in official prospectus posted by LBS on their official website. Applicants who are unaware about the minimum qualifying marks can have a look at the table given below :

Its is mandatory for OBC/SC/ST candidates to submit their non-creamy layer Cast/Community certificates to become eligible to avail the concession in qualifying marks. If any candidates fails to submit their respective documents, then no concession will be provided.
Kerala SET 2022 Result
For the Kerala SET 2021 July exam held on August 14, 2021 the results were declared on September 25, 2021.
Hence the same can be expected for Kerala SET 2022 January exam. Applicants can expect the results to be released a month later on the official website of LBS mentioned above. Since the exam was conducted on January 09, 2022 the results can be expected by February 15, 2022.
