The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the official notification of the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET), 2022. Candidates can apply from February 09, 2022 at ktet.kerala.gov.in. The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 500. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category and PwD, the application fee is Rs. 250. Candidates should take a print out of the completed application form. Candidates can apply online till February 16, 2022. All the details pertaining to the KTET exam are explained in the official notification. The date of the KTET exam will be announced soon.
How to apply for KTET, February 2022?
Step 1: Visit the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.
Step 2: Find the link for ‘New Registration February 2022’.
Step 3: Click on the link. Candidates will have to select the boxes against the declaration and click on ‘Click here to New Registration’.
Step 4: Now, candidates can select the category (classes they wish to teach), based on their education qualification.
Step 5: In the next step, enter the candidate’s personal details, educational details and exam city preferences.
Step 6: Candidates should upload their photograph which bears their name and the date when the photograph was taken.
Step 7: Save the details entered. A preview of the details will be displayed.
Step 8: Now, candidates can either choose to edit their details or print the application form and proceed to payment. With this, the application process is complete.

KTET February 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam is conducted for 4 categories.

The syllabus for each category is specified in the website ktet.kerala.gov.in. The syllabus is in accordance with The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT). The maximum marks for all the categories in the KTET exam is 150. The total duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. Candidates can attempt the Category 1/ 2/ 4 exams either in English/ Malayalam (except language subjects), while Category 3 exams can be attempted only in English. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the candidates have to mark the answers in the OMR sheet provided to them.
KTET exam results
The cut-off marks for the General category candidates is 60% (90 marks). For the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the cut-off marks is 55% or 82 marks and for the PwD candidates, the cut-off marks is 50% or 75 marks. Candidates who secure the minimum cut-off marks will pass the exam and they will be awarded the eligibility certificate, which has lifetime validity.
