Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) is inviting applications for the recruitment of Senior Research Assistant and Junior Research Assistant. Total 06 vacancies are announced out of which 02 are for Senior Research Assistant and 04 for Junior Research Assistant. The recruitment for the announced posts is under “Water Research Management and Law” and “Centre for Studies in Democracy and Constitutional Government”. The 02 vacancies announced under Senior Research Assistant are distributed between SC and GM category. The vacancies of Junior Research Assistant is distributed as 02 vacancies of GM, 01 vacancies for Category-I and 01 vacancies of ST. Candidates are appointed for a period of 02 years in Karnataka State Law University, Navanagar, Hubballi. Those who are selected for Senior Research Assistant receives Rs. 60,000/- per month and Junior Research Assistant gets Rs 30,000/- per month.
Candidates who have acquired LL.M degree with minimum 55% marks are eligible for the post of Senior Research Assistant. Those who have PhD or NET/SLET are also eligible for the announced post. Preference is given to those candidates who have research background with valid proof such as publication or research projects. To apply for the Junior Research Assistant, candidates must have an LL.M degree with a minimum of 55% marks. However, preference is given to those candidates who have any publication or research projects. Work experience is also required to apply for these posts. The upper age limit of GM category is 35 years and 40 years for SC/ST/Cat-I.
