Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala) has announced the exam date for KEAM 2021 exam. It may be noted that the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2021 will be held on July 24, 2021.
There will be two papers. Paper 1 – physics and chemistry will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and paper 2 – mathematics will be held on the same day from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The exam timings are the same as last year.
Registration for the exam will start soon. The CEE will invite students to apply online via cee.kerala.gov.in. Earlier, for the exam, CEE had released the list of certificates that students should keep handy for the exam.
It may be noted that KEAM 2021 is one of the first state level CETs that has confirmed its exam date. This was made possible by the fact that this is also one of the few states where board exams are already over and only results are awaited. The DHSE +2 exams were held from April 8 to 26, 2021. Whereas the SSLC 10th papers were held from April 8 to 29, 2021.
Registration process for KEAM 2021 will be online, at either cee-kerala.org, or cee.kerala.gov.in. Both are official websites of the exam. However for 2021, most announcements are being made at the latter. Nevertheless past year papers and other such details are available at the former.
Last year, KEAM exam was held at 343 exam centers in Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai, and DUbai. The exam was held amidst the pandemic for 1,10,000 candidates who had registered. Among the various arrangements made last year, for the exam, were police personnel and Samoohika Sannadha Sena volunteers to enforce covid-19 protocols. Also, a separate center was established for 60 students who came from critical containment zones. In the exam, a total of 87 boys were in the top 100 rankers, and 13 were girls. The number of candidates who qualified for the engineering stream were 56,599, and for the pharmacy stream, 44,390 did.
