Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 113 vacancies on a contractual basis. The vacancies are for the posts of Consultant in different disciplines and in different Grades. A detailed recruitment advertisement is published on the website kcg.gujarat.gov.in in this regard. Eligible aspirants have to apply online and send a copy of the downloaded application form along with the specified list of documents to complete the application process. The last date of receipt of applications by Registered/Speed post is July 27, 2020.
There are 13 vacancies for the post of Consultant Grade A1 to A7. 46 vacancies are advertised for the post of Consultant Grade B1 to B7. There are 48 vacancies for the post of Consultant Grade C1 to C8. 02 vacancies are advertised for the post of Consultant IT and 04 vacancies are advertised for the post of Consultant Legal. KCG has provided the detailed eligibility criteria for each advertised post in the official advertisement. This is described in terms of the educational qualification and experience required to apply for each post.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and 04 years of experience in a relevant field is required to apply for the post of Consultant Grade A1 to A7. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and 03 years of relevant experience is required to apply for the post of Consultant Grade B1 to B7. The age of applicants for the aforementioned posts must not be more than 35 years. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 02 years of experience is required to apply for the post of Consultant Grade C1 to C8. Candidates must not be over 30 years of age.
For the post of Consultant IT, candidates must have a B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Engineering/Information & Technology Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. IT qualification and associated skills. The age of such candidates must not be more than 35 years. For the post of Consultant Legal, candidates need to have an LLB (LLM preferable) qualification with at least 5 years of experience in legal practice and drafting at Gujarat High Court. The age of such candidates must not be more than 40 years.
It is mandatory for all candidates to have adequate knowledge of Gujarati. Eligible candidates are to be shortlisted on a merit basis and subsequently selected through Interviews and Skill tests. 10 marks are awarded on the basis of merit to candidates having a Graduate degree while 10 marks are awarded on merit basis to candidates having a Post Graduation degree. Another 10 marks are awarded on the basis of experience at the rate of 01 marks for every year of experience. Finally, 70 marks are reserved for Interviews and Skill tests. The skill tests consist of Online Assignment/Project/Test carrying 20 marks, Presentation test, and language proficiency carry 25 marks and the personal interview carries 25 marks. The interviews will be conducted at the office of KCG in Ahmedabad. Finally, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. After final selection, candidates are called for 15 days internship. During this period, candidates need to show satisfactory performance to secure their appointment.
