Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) was scheduled to close the KCET 2022registration link was scheduled to close today, May 06, 2022, at midnight. However, oddly enough, candidates can still access the application form link on the official website kea.kar.nic.in. This invariably, increases the possibility of application deadline. So, candidates who are interested in appearing for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 exam might just have a chance to fill and submit the online form.
As of now, the KCET 2022 exam is all set to be conducted on June 16 and 17, 2022. While the Biology and Maths tests are scheduled on June 16, 2022, candidates have to appear for Chemistry and Physics tests on June 17, 2022.
Public Notice Issued on May 05, 2022
The possibility of deadline extension increased multifold after KEA issued a public notice regarding the KCET 2022 application form. According to the notice,
The last date for online registration for UGCET 2022 is 05/05/2022. Based on the request from the candidates who could not apply due to various reasons, provision will be given for online registration and submission of applications for UGCET 2022.
If the KCET 2022 registration deadline gets extended, invariably, the dates for other events will also get postponed. Consequently, the correction window which was to remain open from May 07 to 10, 2022, will be rescheduled to a later date. However, the exam dates are likely to remain the same.
The official notice advises candidates to visit the official website kea.kar.nic.in frequently, for important updates regarding the KCET 2022 schedule. Updated schedule will be published on the portal, in the next few days.
Details about KCET 2022 Exam Schedule
As reiterated before, the KCET 2022 exam shall be organised on June 16 (day 1) and 17, 2022 (day 2). The Biology exam will be held on day 1, from 10:30 am to 11:50 am shall be Mathematics exam shall be conducted from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. On day 2, the Physics test is scheduled in the morning shift while Chemistry exam is going to be conducted in the afternoon. Shift timings on day 2 remain the same as day 1.
KCET 2022 fee details
Since the KCET 2022 registration deadline is likely to get extended, interested aspirants must take note of the application fee charges. Following is a table summarising the category-wise fee charges –
