Jharkhand Public Service Commission is inviting online applications for the post of Assistant Town Planner. JPSC has announced a total of 77 vacancies under the Assistant Town Planner Recruitment. Those who are selected under this recruitment receives Rs. 9300/- – Rs. 34800/- plus grade pay of Rs. 5400/-.Interested candidates can download Advt. No. 04/2020 from jpsc.gov.in to know more about the recruitment. The online application form starts from July 15, 2020. Candidates can submit their forms before the last date before August 10, 2020.
To apply for Assistant Town Planner, candidates must have a degree in Architecture/B.Planning/Civil Engineering. Along with this, they must also have associate membership with Masters of Planning in Urban Planning/Transport Planning/Housing/Environment Planning/Regional Planning. The Bachelor and Master’s degree should be affiliated with the Institute of Town Planners.
Candidates minimum age should be 21 years as on August 01, 2019. The upper age limit for the unreserved category is 35 years, 37 years for Extremely Backward class/Backward Class, 38 years for Women candidates (Unreserved/Extremely Backward class)/Backward Class (Schedule-II), 40 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male and female). Candidates can refer to the official notification to know about the reservation rules and other information related to the recruitment.
To apply online, candidates have to visit the official website of JPSC, jpsc.gov.in. Before beginning with the online application process, candidates must read the ‘how to apply’ instructions present on the website. Enter all the details as asked in the application form and upload the required documents, signature and photograph. Candidates have to upload 10th pass certificate, 12th certificate, graduation, master’s mark sheet, EWS certificate, Caste certificate, Physical Handicap certificate, No-Objection certificate.
Aspirants also have to pay the application fee as asked in the online application form. Unreserved/Extremely Backward Class/EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 600/- as the application fee. SC/ST/ of Jharkhand date have to pay Rs. 150/-. Physically handicap candidates are exempted from the fee submission. The fee can only be paid through the online or offline process. The payment can be made through Credit card/Debit card/Internet Banking/Challan. The link to submit the application fee remains active up to August 11, 2020.
JPSC conducted the selection process in two stages – first is educational verification followed by an interview. The educational qualification verification is conducted for 80 marks. Candidates who have passed 10th standard are allotted with 10 marks, 15 marks are allocated to for 12th standard, 25 marks for graduate and 30 marks for Master’s degree holder. Those who are able to qualify this round are invited for the interview round. Candidates have to present with the documents in original to verify their eligibility and reservation claims.
