On the popular Jnanabhumi platform of Andhra Pradesh, at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in, detailed notification and application form for the BG Inter CET 2020 have been released. The exam is being organized to offer admissions in 1st year intermediate classes in 164 APSWR junior colleges, and 3 APSWR IIT NEET academies.
Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, Amaravati will organize the admission process on the basis of the Balayogi Gurukulam Intermediate Common Entrance Test (BG CET) 2020, for the academic year 2020-21.
Interested students can apply online from today, December 20, 2019 to January 20, 2020, at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. Applications should be filled against one’s own district. If however, required group is not available in that district, then one can apply in other district of the same zone. Boys should apply for boys colleges, and girls for girls colleges. Those who are studying in Telugu medium in class 10 can also apply.
This exam is open for students appearing in SSC public exams in March 2020, as long as their age does not exceed 17 years as on August 31, 2020. However students of APSWR schools and social welfare hostels will get a relaxation of 1 year. Annual income of parent of the student should not be more than 1 lakh.
The entrance test, APSWREIS Inter CET will be held on February 2, 2020. Result will be announced on February 7, 2020. Selected candidates need to confirm seats in allotted junior colleges from February 7 to 20, 2020.
On the Jnanabhumi website, list of students eligible for IIT NEET academy exam will be put up on February 24, 2020. Then the date for IIT NEET academies entrance exam will be March 1, 2020. Result of IIT NEET academies will be out on March 20, 2020. Foundation course or bridge course for selected students will be done from April 15 to May 15, 2020. Date of re-opening of 164 APSWR junior colleges and 3 IIT NEET academies will be June 1, 2020.
To apply for this exam, interested students need to fill the online form at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in; there is no fee for the form. Those studying in APSWREIS schools need to fill the application form from JNB Nivas school login.
BG Inter CET 2020 will be an objective test. All questions will be multiple choice type. Syllabus will be the class 10th syllabus of AP state government. Exam will be held on the scheduled date from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
There will be 20 mathematics questions, 20 physical science, 20 bio science, 15 social science, 15 english, and 10 logical reasoning questions. Each question will be of 1 mark. For incorrect answers, negative marking will be of ¼ mark. Question paper will be in English as well as Telugu languages. Exam will be in pen and paper mode, wherein students will mark answers in OMR sheet.
However the APSWR IIT NEET academies entrance exam will be a combination of objective and descriptive tests. However syllabus shall be class 10th syllabus of AP government only. It will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on its scheduled date. Paper will be in English language only.
