The result for JEECUP 2018 has been announced on May 30, 2018, by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. The candidates can check their result online at the official website of JEECUP. Keep your Roll Number ready to check your result.
To check the result for JEECUP 2018, the candidates need to visit the official website at jeecup.org. Next, on the login page, the candidates need to enter their Roll number and Date of birth. On entering the login details, click on “Submit” button. Finally, download and take a print out of the result as you may require at the time of Document Verification.
This year, a total of 3,98,673 candidates appeared for the State level entrance test. Out of these many, about 3,79,567 number of candidates managed to qualify the test. Suraj Kumar bagged number position Rudra Parakah Tiwari from Sonbhadra is the 2nd rank holder, and the third rank is obtained by Priya Chourasiya from Jaunpur in JEECUP 2018.
On the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, the candidates are offered admission to Diploma / Post Diploma programs in government / aided / private UP polytechnics colleges. The result for JEECUP 2018 consist of the group, roll number, name, parent’s name, category, gender, state, date of birth, and rank along with whether qualified for counseling or not.
Now that the result has been announced, the exam conducting body will soon publish the schedule for JEECUP 2018 Counseling. Only those candidates whose name is included in the merit list will be eligible to take part in the counseling. The allotment of seats to one of the institutes situated in Uttar Pradesh will be done on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
The shortlisted candidates need to report to the counseling venue as per the schedule. Also, at the time of counseling, the candidates need to report at the venue along with the relevant certificate in proof of Date of Birth, Category, Academic background, etc. It is mandatory for the candidates to produce any of the authentic documents at the time of admission process, otherwise, he/ she won’t be considered for admission under any circumstances.
