Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 shift 1 for 25 July exam has ended. The exam was, as expected, moderate in level of difficulty. The easiest section in the exam was chemistry. Whereas, physics and maths sections were moderate in difficulty. However, the students who appeared for the exam felt that mathematics was a bit lengthy. Few integer type questions in this section were tricky and time taking.
The weightage of class 12th questions was more in chemistry. This time, questions from inorganic were less. The questions from organic chemistry were NCERT based. Also, The number of questions from modern physics was more this time.
In maths, questions were asked from integers, mathematical reasoning, statistics, relations, differentiation, etc.
Questions in physics were asked from current electricity, magnetism, electrostatics, etc.
In chemistry, questions came from biomolecules, polymers, physical chemistry, inorganic, organic, etc.
From the analysis of JEE Main 20, 22, and 25 July exam, the following things are clear now:
#1. Maths is a bit lengthy this time and few questions are very time taking. Candidates who will be next appearing for the exam must take note of this.
#2. The chemistry section is easy and it is NCERT based. So, make sure to revise those NCERT notes.
#3. The physics section is moderate in level of difficulty. However, experts are advising that candidates do revise all the formulas.
Today, many candidates in Maharashtra were not able to appear for JEE Main because of heavy rains and landslides. Hence, National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to give these students another chance to take the exam. The dates for such candidates will be announced soon. This mainly included those students who had exam centers in Kolhapur, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigadh, Sindhudurg, Sangli and Satara. If the natural calamity kept on creating hindrance then candidates who have a paper on July 27, shall also be given another chance to take JEE.
JEE Main session 3 is being held for 7.09 lakh. The exam is held as CBT paper, only for B.Tech / B.E candidates. The paper for B.Arch / B.Plan exam will be held in session 4, which is due to be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 01, 02, 2021.
