The State Bank of India will close the registration process of SBI Apprentice 2021 today, on July 26, 2021. All eligible candidates who have not yet filled the application form can do the same by visiting the official website i.e. sbi.co.in. The Bank has released the application form of SBI Apprentice on July 5, 2021, and the registration for 6100 vacancies commenced on July 6, 2021. As per the official website, the single computer-based test will be held tentatively in August 2021.
The candidates who are successful in clearing the exam will be entitled to get an appointment as an SBI Apprentice for 1 year. In addition to this, the candidate will also get Rs 15,000 per month as a stipend.
According to the official notification, the required age limit for the aforesaid post is 20 years to 28 years for the unreserved candidates. While age relaxation as decided by the Central Government is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC candidates. Additionally, the candidates should have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
The candidates should initially visit the website i.e. sbi.co.in and click on the Careers section to fill the application form. Post reaching the official career page, the candidates need to click on the “Apply Online” option under the SBI Apprentice 2021. Thereafter, the candidates will be redirected to the registration page wherein they have to click on the New Registration option.
On the registration page, the candidates have to enter the Full Name, Mobile Number, Email id, and captcha code to generate the Registration Number and Password. Once this is done, the candidate has to log in with the credentials generated. Then, the candidates have to upload their scanned photos and signature. The scanned copy of the candidate’s photo should be in the range of 20kb–50 kb. While the size specification for the candidate’s signature is 10kb–20 kb.
Thereafter, the application form will open wherein the candidates need to specify their category, Physical Disability status, State from where they are applying, Test center state for the written exam, Date of birth, Parent’s name, Permanent and Correspondence Address, Educational Qualification, and relevant experience. In the end, the candidates need to pay the application fee i.e. Rs 300 for General/OBC/EWS candidates while NIL for SC/ST/PWDB candidates. The fee can be paid by any online method i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card etc.
The selection process for SBI Apprentice has two levels i.e. Written Computer Based Test followed by a Local language test. The Computer Based Test will have four subjects namely, General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. Each subject will account for 25 questions and each will have a sectional timing of 15 minutes. As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for the correct answer. Similarly, there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for a wrong answer.
