National Testing Agency (NTA) has today, June 01, 2022, opened the registration portal to apply for the upcoming JEE Main 2022 session 2 exam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for session 2 by filling-up the form on jeemain.nta.nic.in. A notice regarding the registration process has also been uploaded on the official website. Candidates have time up June 30, 2022, 9:00 pm to fill and submit the form. Even the deadline to pay the application fee has been set on the same date, up to 11:50 pm.
While session 2 registration has begun, NTA is still in the process of conducting JEE Main 2022 session 1. The first session is scheduled from June 20 to 29, 2022, through the computer-based format.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2 – Important dates
According to the official notice, the JEE Main 2022 session 2 registration shall be held from June 01 to 30, 2022. During this period, students are expected to fill-up the online form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
The JEE Main 2022 session 2 is all set to be conducted on July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2022, at selected centres across the country. Exam date and slot timing for each student shall be mentioned in his/her admit card.
With respect to dates for JEE Main 2022 advance city intimation, admit card release and other events, the following statement was mentioned in the official notice –
The dates of Advance Intimation of Examination City, downloading of Admit Cards, and declaration of Result will be displayed on JEE (Main) portal in due course.
Candidates are therefore, advised to keep track of the official website for any update in regard to JEE Main 2022 Session 2 schedule.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2 – Instructions to follow
Two types of aspirants will be applying for the upcoming JEE Main 2022 session 2. They are as follows –
#1 Candidates who have successfully applied for session 1 and wish to apply for session 2
#2 Candidates who have not applied for the previous session.
Instructions for already registered JEE Main 2022 aspirants
Candidates need to login using their existing credentials like application number and password to access the JEE Main 2022 session 2 application form. They are only required to choose the paper, medium of exam, and preferred cities along with paying the application fee.
Instructions for new applicants
Such aspirants need to follow the JEE Main 2022 application process explained in the information brochure. They are required to details regarding address, education, exam city and medium, slot timing preferred, etc. Uploading scanned copies of required documents and paying the application fee are both mandatory steps to successfully apply.
