IIT JEE Main 2022 application form filling process is going to end on March 31, 2022. The first phase of the JEE Main examination is scheduled to be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1, 4, 2022. However, this time, the agency has removed the application form correction option for the candidates from this year onwards. This clause has been mentioned in the official notification of the JEE Main 2022. The candidates can fill the application form of IIT JEE Main on the official website, nta.ac.in.
No Correction Window This Time
Although, the agency has clearly stated that this year, it shall not be allowing the correction facility. However, some Youtube channels and media houses have been spreading rumors regarding the same. Hence, in order to help the candidates, we have connected to the agency through the helpline number.
Q: Hello, NTA, will the candidates of JEE Main 2022 be provided with the facility of application form correction?
NTA: No, as mentioned this year there shall be no correction facility for the candidates filling the JEE Main application form.
Now, it is now clear that no correction window shall be opened for the candidates. Hence, with this, the candidates are now advised to fill the application form correctly leaving any room for error. In case, any detail has been entered wrongly then, it may reflect in the IIT JEE Main admit card. It may also happen that the agency rejects the application forms straightway. Also, this could also pose a problem to candidates while going for the counseling round whenever it is conducted.
