The National Testing Agency has released the official answer key & response sheet of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021. JEE Main 2021 was held from February 23 to 26, 2021 as a Computer Based Test for admission to BE/B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan courses in NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs in the country. Now that the answer keys are available at jeemain.nta.nic.in, candidates who took the test can check out the true solutions to the question paper. In addition, the registrations for the March 2021 session of JEE Main 2021 have already commenced at the official website.
How to Download JEE Main 2021 Official Answer Key, Response Sheet?
Official answer keys indicating the correct answer to all the questions asked in the February session of JEE Main 2021 are available through candidate login at the official website. In addition, individual candidate response sheet is also available for download. In order to download these documents, candidates need to know their JEE Main 2021 Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
To download the answer key, candidates have to open the website jeemain.nta.nic.in at first. Once the website is open, the direct link to download the answer key & response sheet can be seen displayed on the homepage. Candidates have to click on this link to download the answer key.
After clicking on the link, candidates are provided with the options to login. One can log in to the website in two different ways. Candidates can choose to log in using the Application Number & Password or Application Number & Date of Birth. Choose one of the two options and enter the login credentials. Once done, simply click on the Login option to open the answer key & candidate response sheet. Save these documents on your device and generate printouts if required.
Challenging JEE Main 2021 Answer Key
The National Testing Agency provides the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The JEE Main 2021 answer key currently available at the website are provisional in nature. This means that candidates can raise challenges against the answer key and experts of the NTA will look into the challenges. If valid, the answer key is revised accordingly and NTA releases the final revised answer key as per schedule after the exam.
Candidates have to provide documentary evidence supporting their challenges. A fee of Rs 200 is charged for each question challenged. Candidates have to pay this fee to raise objections. Further details regarding the procedure to challenge can be found in the answer key document itself.
