SRM University has revised the entire schedule for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE). The exam will now be held online from June 11 to 16, 2021. Online and offline application forms are available to apply for SRMJEEE 2021. Eligible candidates can apply online at srmist.edu.in till May 31, 2021. However, the last date to submit the offline application forms is until May 15, 2021.
The candidates will be allowed to book the slots for the exam from June 01, 2021, and the result of the exam is expected to be declared in the month of June 2021. Counselling of the selected candidates will be held in the first or second week of July 2021 and the classes will commence in the third week of July.
The candidates have to fill in one common application form to apply for the entrance exam for admission in the B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, AP – Andhra Pradesh.
The online application process includes registration, filling in the details in the online form, uploading the scanned documents, and then paying the fee. The application fee is Rs. 1100. The registrations for the exam was started on December 12, 2021.
Indian citizens / NRI / PIO / OCI candidates are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2021. Additionally, candidates must have passed their class 12th exam with at least 50% in PCM. One should have passed the exams in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement. Also, the candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2. With it, they should have any one of these as major subjects in regular stream – Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies.
Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
Apart from SRMJEEE 2021, there are no other modes of admission in SRM B.tech courses. However, if the Entrance based exam is not conducted then admission will be based on +2/ JEE /SAT Scores.

admission and scholarships to students securing the first rank in the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu, and exceptional sports persons at the National and International level.
SRMJEEE 2021 will be conducted online as a computer-based test. The maximum duration allowed is 02 hours and 30 minutes. There will be 125 MCQ type questions and the total marks in the exam will be 12. There will be no negative marking in the exam. Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Maths / Biology, English, and Aptitude.
