National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a public notice on March 25, 2021, inviting online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021, April and May sessions. The April session is scheduled on April 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021. The May session or fourth cycle is scheduled on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2021. Interested candidates can apply for the April-May sessions from March 25 to April 04, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. Candidates can also withdraw from the April/May sessions during the application process itself.
NTA has started the registration process for the April/May sessions of JEE Main 2021 from March 25, 2021. Interested candidates can apply for the third and fourth cycles of the exam on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is April 04, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. However, the last date to submit the application fee is April 05, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. The third cycle of JEE Main 2021 is scheduled on April 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021.
Authorities issued a public notice yesterday I.e., March 25, 2021, on the official website. According to the notice, JEE Main 2021 April cycle shall be conducted for Paper 1 (B.E. or B.Tech.). Candidates wishing to appear for paper 2 A (B.Arch) or Paper 2B (B.Planning) must apply for the May session of the examination. The May session is scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2021.
The public notice also stated that candidates who have already applied for the April/May session 2021 can rectify or edit their particulars from March 25 to April 04, 2021. These particulars include session, subject, category, etc. Since there are time constraints, candidates shall not be provided with a separate correction facility to rectify their errors in the form. Hence, they are advised to fill the form with extreme care and patience.
NTA has also provided candidates with the facility to withdraw from the April/May sessions. However, those aspirants must make a request during the application timeline of the session for which they wish to withdraw. Thus, candidates wishing to withdraw from the April session can do so from March 25 to April 04, 2021. They just have to follow the instructions specified in the application form. Subsequently, the application fee shall be refunded by NTA.
The JEE Main 2021 application form can be accessed from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application process involves four basic steps to be followed by candidates for successful registration. These steps include registering on the official website, filling the online application form, uploading scanned copies of the photograph and signature and, paying the application fee.
JEE Main 2021 April session is scheduled to be held in less than a month. Once the application process concludes, NTA shall release the exam admit cards. However, no official date has yet been announced by the officials. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly to get their queries resolved.
