From April 08, 2019 the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 exam starts. The exam will be held on April 08, 09, 10 and 12, 2019. On each day the exam is to be held in 2 shifts. Shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and then from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. For the JEE Main 2019 April attempt, 10,51,508 candidates have registered for the exam. Out of which 1,15,767 candidates had already appeared for the paper 2 exam yesterday on April 07, 2019. The rest of the 9,35,741 will take the JEE Main 2019 paper 1 exam over a period of 4 days and in 2 shifts.

11:45 AM | JEE 2019 April session for B.Arch/ B.Plan paper was successfully conducted yesterday in 2 shifts. The exam held for both the shifts was said to be of “moderate” difficulty level.
11:30 AM | 43.6 marks is expected to be scored by a candidate, in order to stay on the safer side to qualify for the Paper 2 exam.
11:15 AM | For JEE Main 2019 Paper 1, a candidate needs to attempt 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section, making it a paper of 360 marks in total.

07:00 AM | Candidate of paper 1 has gathered at the exam centers along with their parents. The JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 exam starts today from 9:30 AM.
This time NTA will be compiling the result after the exam based on the NTA scores or the percentile scores of the candidates. The percentile score or the NTA score is the normalised score of the candidates. The result of the candidates will have the section wise percentile marks and the total percentile marks.
After the April result is declared, NTA is also going to release the All India Rank list of the candidates based on the candidate’s best percentile score out of both the attempts. The admission to the NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs will be based on the AIR.
The official answer key will be uploaded over jeemain.nic.in, 2-3 days after the exam is over. NTA will also upload the response sheet and question paper of the candidates. To check the answer key, question paper and response sheet the candidates have to log in using there Application number and password/date of birth.
The result of the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 will be declared by April 30, 2019. However, the result of the paper 2 exam will be declared by May 15, 2019. There were 15 toppers in the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 January exam with a perfect 100 percentile. In paper 2 there were 2 toppers with a perfect 100 percentile.
After the exam is over, many coaching centers like the career point, FIITJEE, Allen, etc release the analysis and memory based answer keys for each shift and day.
