National Testing is Agency (NTA) is conducting JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 for April Attempt today, on April 07, 2019. The first shift starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. Whereas, shift 2 is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 is for admission in B.Arch/B.Plan courses at the NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. 6:15 PM | So, as per student’s reaction JEE Main 2019 April Paper 2 for both the shifts were of “moderate” difficulty level.
6:00 PM | For Shift 2, drawing sections had one question which had further sub choice – to make either a restaurant scene or bedsheet for a girl’s room or sketching a freedom fighter. Other than this question, a candidate had to design an aesthetic piece using a cube/ cylinder and draw a female dancer, as accurately as possible (whose picture was provided).
5:45 PM | Mathematics section had major number of questions from Differential Calculus and Geometry questions. Class 11 syllabus had more questions than Class 12 syllabus.

5:15 PM | Readers must keep in mind that NTA will be releasing Normalised scores (also known as NTA score), along with the raw scores for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2.
5:00 PM | Exactly, half an hour to go for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Exam to end. No candidates are allowed to leave the exam hall, even a minute prior.
4:45 PM | As per student’s reaction, JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Shift 1 paper was of moderate difficulty level.

12:45 PM | 3 questions in the drawing section were to either make something out of a cube with the help of their imagination, or a picture of flower was provided which needed to be replicated or the students had to sketch a professor/ student from behind.

11:45 AM | For JEE Main Paper 2, a candidate needs to attempt 30 MCQ type questions from Maths section, 50 MCQ type questions from Aptitude Test section and 3 questions from drawing section. Out of the 3 questions from the drawing section, a candidate needs to only attempt 2.
11:30 AM | This time, as well, number of female candidates (71,010) seem to have registered less than the number of male candidates (98,756).
11:00 AM | As per this session’s data, the fall in the number of registered candidates is clearly significant. For JEE Main Jan session, 180052 candidates had registered, while for April session, 115767 candidates had registered, solely for Paper 2.

10:15 AM | Candidates were only allowed to carry their own cardboard (for the drawing test), geometry box set, pencils, erasers and crayons to the examination hall.
9:45 AM | Paper 2 is being conducted in online mode for Part 1 and 2, whereas in offline mode for Part 3.
9:30 AM | JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 has started. The candidates are all seated and are now taking the exam.
8:30 AM | Last entry ends now. Candidates are to enter exam hall between 8:45 to 9:00 am.
7:30 AM | Exam centre gates are now open and students are entering inside the exam hall, one by one. On their way inside, the authorities are checking JEE Main 2019 admit card and passport size photograph, and valid photo id proof. PwD candidates also have to show PwD certificate. Candidates who have all the documents are allowed to enter and go for frisking.
7:00 AM | Students have started to gather near the exam centre. Parents are accompanying their wards, who are a bit nervous about the exam.
JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 has a total of 390 marks. The paper has 3 parts. Part 1 is Mathematics and Part 2 is the Aptitude section. Part 3 is the drawing section. Part 1, Mathematics has 30 questions and is of 120 marks and the part 2 Aptitude has 50 questions of 200 marks. The Drawing section has 2 questions of 70 marks in all. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. The exam is being held in the online mode only and however, the drawing section is to be attempted in the drawing sheets provided at the exam center.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken over the charge of conducting the Joint Entrance Exam Main 2019 exam in online mode from CBSE in 2019. The January exam was successfully conducted and the results have been already declared for the same. However, the final AIR based on which the admission will be made to the CFTIs, IIITs, NITs etc will be based on best scores of the candidates in both the attempts. Thus, after the April exam is over, NTA is going to release the AIR.
Since the exam is being held in multiple session and days the result of JEE Main 2019 is based on the percentile scores (NTA scores) of the candidates that is calculated done by the normalisation of the raw scores.
