JEE Main 2018 Result Tonight for both Paper 1 and Paper 2

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to announce JEE Main 2018 Result. As per the information brochure, the date for the release of JEE Main Paper 1 result is April 30, 2018, and by the preparations done by the Board, it seems like the result will be announced tonight. What is surprising is that it also seems like that the Board will also announce Paper 2 result with Paper 1.

Today, on April 29, at 4:45 pm, CBSE uploaded the title for JEE Main Result 2018 at cbseresults.nic.in. Though the official website for the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) is jeemain.nic.in but the result is always announced at cbseresults.nic.in first.

Possibility of Early Release?

The possibility of early release of result has also arisen due to this. Now that the board has uploaded the page for the result then there is a high possibility that the result will also be announced earlier than the expected date, i.e. by tonight.

CBSE Releasing JEE Main 2018 Paper I and II Result on the Same Date?

Check the image below, this is what the Board has uploaded so far. It clearly indicates that the result of JEE Main 2018 Paper I and II will be available on the same date. However, as per the important dates for JEE given by CBSE the result of Paper 2 should release on May 31, 2018. The Paper 2 aspirants can also look out for the result tomorrow.

How to Check JEE Main 2018 Result?

To check the result of JEE Main 2018, the candidates just need to visit cbseresults.nic.in. There, the candidates need to click on “Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2018 – with Rank” link. It will lead to a new window. To access it, the candidates will have to enter Roll Number and Date of Birth. Then, click on the “Submit” button.

The result of JEE will be displayed on the screen. Candidates will be needing JEE Main rank during the counselling and final admission. So, it is advised that they download it and keep it safe.

Not JoSAA, but CSAB will Conduct JEE Main 2018 Counselling

For some time now, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) was conducting the counselling of JEE Main 2018 for NIT, IIIT, GFTIs admission. However, this year, Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct it. This will not be the first time when CSAB will conduct the counselling. Before the introduction of JoSAA, i.e. before 2015, CSAB used to conduct counselling for JEE Main 2018. The official notification on the basis of which it is begin said that CSAB will conduct the counselling is as follows:
