Complete schedule of JEE Advanced 2019 has been published by IIT Roorkee at jeeadv.ac.in on October 16, 2018. National level engineering entrance exam for admission to IITs shall be held on 19 May 2019 with two papers. Both the papers will be computer based tests.
Paper 1 will be held in session 1 from 9 AM to 12 noon. Paper 2 will be held in session 2 from 2 PM to 5 PM. It shall be compulsory for candidates to attempt both papers. This schedule shall be unaffected even if the exam date becomes a public holiday.
Five days ago AglaSem News was the first to report that IIT Roorkee will conduct JEE Advanced 2019 on 19 May 2019. With it, two things were confirmed, the exam date and exam conducting body for year 2019.
Organizing body – IIT Roorkee – has not disclosed exam pattern. Whereas exam pattern of all engineering entrance exams are made public before exam, IITs do not reveal the pattern beforehand. It keeps changing every year.
Previously known as IIT JEE, the JEE Advanced is notorious for throwing surprises at students every year. Students may expect a mix of multiple choice questions with single correct answer, multiple choice questions with more than one correct answer, match the following questions, single digit answers.
IITs will conduct Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2019 under the counsel of JAB or Joint Admission Board. Admission to Bachelors and Integrated Masters and Dual Degree Programs after class 12 in IITs for academic session 2019-20 shall be offered only on basis of JEE Advanced 2019.

Upcoming details on the website are poster in English and Hindi, information brochure, important dates, eligibility criteria, participating institutes, academic programs, FAQs, certificate format.
Today’s announcement regarding schedule says,
‘The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2019 will be conducted by the IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2019. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2019 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2019 and admission to IITs.
The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:
Both the papers are compulsory. The exam will be held in fully computer-based test mode.
The schedule will remain the same even if the day of examination is declared a public holiday.’
