IRMRA has notified fresh vacancies on its official website irmra.org. According to the notification, there are 5 vacant posts 2 each for Assistant Director and Senior Scientific Officer while 01 for Junior Officer respectively. Eligible candidates possessing desired qualifications can apply for the posts up to 30 days from the date of publication of notification. The applicants should keep this in mind that the application process is completely offline. The candidates are required to send all the important documents and details via speed post.
IRMRA Recruitment 2021 Detailed Notification
The candidates thus selected as Assistant Director or Senior Scientific Officer or Junior Officer will be placed in the Thane office or other regional offices of the IRMRA. However, the nature of the job is transferable. The pay scale of the Assistant Director lies in Group A, Level 11 as per 7th CPC (Rs. 67700-208700) and Grade Pay of Rs 6600. While for the Senior Scientific Officer, the pay scale will also be in Group A, Level 10 as per 7th CPC (Rs. 56100 – 177500) and Grade Pay of Rs 5400. The grade pay of Junior Officer will be 4200, while Pay level 6 as per 7th CPC (Rs. 35400 – 112400) under group B.
The age of the candidates applying for the Assistant Director should not be more than 45 years, whereas the age limit for Senior Scientific Officer and Junior Officer must not be more than 40 years respectively. The Assistant Director applicants have to have a Minimum 60% marks at Master degree (M.Tech/ M.Sc) and/or M.Phil level exam. While Math & Physics is desirable, they must be a subject at Bachelor / Master level. Apart from this, candidates having at least 5 years of experience in Research and Development in the Rubber or Polymer industry will be given preference.
The Senior Scientific Officer applicant must have M. Tech in Rubber Technology/ Polymer Technology with Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in Rubber & allied industries or PhD in Rubber / Polymer Technology with minimum 1 year of experience. While the essential qualification for Junior Officer, B. Tech in Rubber Technology/ Polymer Technology with Minimum 4 years of experience in Rubber & allied industries. While the degree of MBA in marketing is desirable for the post.
