Institute of Plasma Research, Gujarat is inviting eligible candidates for the recruitment of Technician-A, Scientific Assistant- C, Scientific Officer – D, Scientific Officer – E. The conducting body has announced 06 posts for Scientific Officer-D and Scientific Officer E, 09 vacancies for Scientific Assistant C and 04 vacancies for Technician -A (Special Recruitment for ST and OBC candidates). Eligible candidates can submit the online application form before August 15, 2020.
To apply for Technician – A candidate must have 10th or 12th with Science and Maths plus they must have ITI Trade certificate in relevant fields. Those who have Bachelor’s in Science/Diploma in relevant disciplines are eligible for the posts under Scientific Assistant-C. A PhD in Physics or Engineering and M.Sc in Physics/B.Tech/BE in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Chemical is required for Scientific Officer D and Scientific Officer E. The upper age limit for the post of Scientific Officer – D is 40 years. The maximum age limit for Scientific Assistant -C is 34 years, for Technician A is 32 years (ST) and 30 years for (OBC). The selection procedure for Technician – A is conducted through scrutinization of application and trade test. Candidates are shortlisted for Scientific Assistant C through scrutinization of application followed by interview round. In case, a large number of candidates participate in recruitment, a written examination is also conducted. Similar to this, the selection criteria for Scientific Officer D and Scientific Officer E is organized. Candidates are shortlisted for the interview round that is conducted through online video conferencing.
