An official notification by Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata is recently released regarding the recruitment of Project Linked Person for the ongoing projects. Eligible aspirants can submit their applications for the 06 advertised posts. The last date to submit application for the recruitment is December 09, 2020. Interested candidates can download the ISI, Kolkata recruitment notification from web.isical.ac.in.
As per the advertisement, the posts are advertised under three projects. The first project is Development of Advanced Machine Learning Tools for Multi-modal Image-assisted Diagnostics of Infectious Respiratory Diseases. The second project is “Digital Restoration and Reconstruction of Indian Heritage Artefacts with Focus on Murals, Manuscripts and Sculptures using Big Data Technology”. The last one is “Information access from document images of Indian languages”. All these three projects will be in the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
Under all these advertised projects, aspirants are recruited for a fixed tenure. For Project 1 and 2, candidates are recruited for a short period of 06 months. Those who are appointed for Project 3 have to serve up to March 31, 2020, from the date of joining in the Institue. The tenure for Project 3 may get extended depending upon the performance of the candidate and/ or availability of the required funds.
So, to submit an application for these posts, go through the eligibility criteria first. Those who wish to apply for Project 1 and Project 2 must possess ME/ M.Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering with good academic records, M. Sc in Computer Sciences/ Statistics or equivalent. Those who are in the final semester of the final year are also eligible to submit applications for this recruitment. To apply for Project 3 candidates should have either PhD degree. Those who have ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Mathematics with 02 years of work experience in image processing/ computer vision can also apply.

Moreover, applicants also have to submit all these documents in zip format.
