Indian Navy has declared the result of Tradesman Mate INCET TMM 01/2019 today, at indiannavy.nic.in. A list of candidates who have been provisionally selected on the basis of exam held on April 13, 14, and 21 has been published. As per the result, a total of 536 candidates have been selected for the post of Tradesman Mate classified as group c, industrial at various commands.
The result published contains registration number, in order of the same, instead of merit. Candidates whose registration numbers are mentioned in the result are now required to complete the document verification process. Herein the Indian Navy reminds that selection is subject to verification of original certificates that support age, education, caste certificate, EWS, PWBD, ESM and other claims.
Selected candidates, for the Indian Navy Tradesman Mate, will now get call letters via email ID, post as per address mentioned by them in the online application form. At the assigned venue, on the assigned date, candidate needs to go for further processes. Indian Navy clarifies that candidate may have to stay there for one or two days, until document verification is complete. Candidates are thus advised to make their stay arrangements in accordance to it.
A total of 536 registration numbers are in the list. It is less than the number of vacancies, which were advertised as 554. Indian Navy Tradesman Mate recruitment 01/2019 was notified for 502 vacancies in the Headquarters Western Naval Command Mumbai (HQWNC), 46 in Headquarters Eastern Naval Command Visakhapatnam (HQENC), and 6 in Headquarters Southern Naval Command Kochi (HQSNC).
As a tradesman mate, duties and job profile include assisting routine office work, cleaning of building, carrying of files. One also has to deliver dak, do dusting of furniture, general cleanliness and upkeep of section. Tradesman mate has to work in production, maintenance of shop, ship, and submarine. Any other work may also be assigned by superior authority.
First, candidates were screened on the basis of their eligibility. Then a written exam was held comprising of four sections namely general intelligence and reasoning, numerical aptitude, general english, general awareness with 25 marks in each. The recruitment was opened for class 10 pass government job aspirants.
Indian Navy requires candidates to bring “all documents pertaining to age, education, identity, address, category, caste validity certificate, ITI certificate etc. will be scrutinized and verified as per extant DoP&T policy” during document verification, as per the Indian Navy Tradesman Mate TMM 01/2019 notification. The navy provides provisional appointment letter to provisionally selected candidates on the basis of their relative merit position in written exam, subject to document verification, medical exam and other requirements prescribed by the Govt of India.
Besides tradesman mate recruitment, other means to join Indian Navy after class 10 is the matric recruitment. Recently Indian Navy also released the MR Oct 2019 batch merit list.
