Indian Navy has published an official notification for the Indian Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Recruitment 2021 for June 2022 courses. The online registrations for the same will start tomorrow from September 21, 2021. Unmarried male and female candidates willing to join the Navy can apply for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2021 through joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date to submit the application form is October 05, 2021.
Every year, the Indian Navy organizes the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer recruitment exam various entries. The posts that are advertised under this exam includes General Service (Executive) [GS(X)]/ Hydrography, Air Traffic Controller/Observer/Logistics /Pilot/Education/Technical (Engineering & Electrical) /Naval Architect. Candidates who are shortlisted for the advertised vacancies have to undergo training for respective branches/cadres/specialisations.
Through the official notification, the Indian Navy has announced 181 vacancies for Indian Navy SSC Officer recruitment 2021. The shortlisting of applications for the said vacancies is based on their preference of entries and normalised marks secured in the qualifying degree.

Moreover, the application process for the recruitment shall start from September 21, 2021. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their Indian Navy SSC Officer application form 2021 through joinindiannavy.gov.in. Keep the matriculation certificate, email address, mobile number, all educational qualification certificates, NCC certificate, Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued by DGCA ready while filling online application. Also, a scanned image of a recent passport size photograph is required.
Those candidates who have a graduation degree or are in the final year of their graduation can apply for the recruitment. They must have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in their graduation. Candidates with degrees in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/System can also apply. They can also check the detailed, post-wise required eligibility in the official notification as well.
Further, candidates have to appear for the SSB interview and medical exam. Those who have applied for Pilot entry also have to appear for an additional round of Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) followed by Aviation medical examination. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS. Candidates who clear all rounds and are declared medically fit would be appointed as per the availability of vacancies.
