Indian Army has published the official notification for the recruitment of higher secondary passed candidates under the Technical Entry Scheme-44 for course commencing from January 2021. The official recruitment notification is published at the recruitment website of the Indian Army i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. Eligible candidates who wish to join the Army for permanent commission are encouraged to apply for the recruitment through the aforementioned website only. The online application process has commenced today i.e. August 10, 2020, from 12.00 PM. The last date to apply online for TES-44 recruitment is September 09, 2020, till 12.00 PM.
As per the official TES-44 recruitment notification, there are 90 vacancies to be filled up. Candidates who have passed Class 12th exam with 70% or more aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for this recruitment. However, the percentage is calculated on the basis of the marks obtained in Class 12th only. In addition, candidates must be within the age range of 16.5 and 19.5 years as on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence. Candidates must also be eligible as per prescribed medical and physical standards for Officers Entry into the Indian Army. Selected candidates, are to be dispatched for 04 years of the course following which, successful candidates are to be granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant.
Eligible applicants are to be shortlisted at the discretion of the integrated HQ of the MOD (Army). Shortlisted candidates are allotted selection centres following which, the dates of SSB interviews are intimated via registered email. Call-letters for the SSB interview are to be issued by the respective selection centre through the registered email id of the candidate.
The SSB interview is conducted in two stages. Candidates who clear Stage-I first are eligible to proceed to participate in Stage-II. The entire interview consisting of the two stages is conducted for 05 days. More details of each stage of the SSB interview is available at the official website as mentioned here. Those who are recommended by the SSB and declared Medically Fit are issued joining letters for training. The merit lists are published at the official website. The applications can only be made online through the website of the Indian Army as specified here. Before applying, one must ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions. The online application link is available at the website and candidates must enter the correct details in all fields to complete the application process. Edits to the information entered in the application form can be made as many times as one wish to until the last day of submission of application. Candidates are advised to generate multiple print outs of the application form after successful submission. A copy of the form must be carried to the selection center must be produced at the SSB interview along with the certificates and mark sheets of Class 10th and 12th and an identity proof, all in originals.
