International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) is inviting online applications to fill up vacancies for the post of Scientific Officer/Assistant and Administrative Officer/Assistant in Bangalore. ICTS has published an official notification (Advt. No. ICTS-Notice-2020/04; Dated 08/08/2020) at the website icts.res.in in this regard. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility conditions and desiring for recruitment to the aforementioned vacancies are being invited to apply online through the official website on or before the last date i.e. August 31, 2020.
As per the detailed recruitment notification, 07 vacancies are available altogether. The vacancies are for the posts of Scientific Officer C (Web)-01, Scientific Assistant B (Audio Visual)-02, Scientific Assistant B (Labs)-01, Administrative Officer D (Head Administration and Finance)-01, Administrative Officer C (Accounts and Finance)-01 and Administrative Assistant B (Accounts and Finance)-01. Selected candidates are entitled to receive remuneration as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Candidates appointed to the post of Scientific Officer C (Web) and Administrative Officer C (Accounts and Finance) are entitled to total monthly emolument of Rs 87525. Scientific Assistant B (Audio Visual), Scientific Assistant B (Labs) and Administrative Assistant B (Accounts and Finance) are entitled to emoluments of Rs 54126. Administrative Officer D (Head Administration and Finance) is entitled to emolument of Rs 103881.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. An M.Sc. degree in Computer Applications or B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IS with 60% marks in aggregate is required to apply for the post of Scientific Officer C. Candidates must have 03 years of relevant experience and within the age of 28/33/31 years to apply for this post. Candidates within 28 years of age and having a Science Graduation degree or Diploma in Engineering with 60% or more marks are eligible to apply for the post of Scientific Assistant B. 02 years of minimum experience is required to apply for this post.
For the post of Administrative Officer (D), candidates must have a Post Graduate degree in Management/Administration with 60% along with 05 years of relevant experience. The maximum permissible age is 45 years. For the post of Administrative Officer (C), candidates must have a Post Graduate degree in Commerce with Advanced Accountancy/Auditing/Taxation as one of the subjects acquired with 55% marks. In addition, 06 years of relevant work experience is required and the maximum permissible age is 40 years. For the post of Administrative Assistant (B), candidates must have a Graduate degree acquired with 55% marks and 05 years of experience in Accounts.
Applications for recruitment must be conducted online through the official website only. However, candidates who are eligible for further age relaxation as per extant TIFR or GOI rules are allowed to submit their applications offline. Candidates who are working in Government organisations can also apply through proper channel. The prescribed proforma for offline applications are available with the recruitment notification.
