CSIR- CIMFR is conducting a recruitment procedure to appoint eligible candidates as Project Assistant Level -I, Project Assistant Level-II and Project Assistant Level-III.

CSIR – Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research Dhanbad, Ministry of Science and Technology, has released the official notification to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of Project Assistant. The notification with Advertisement No. PA/011020/BC/R&A-II is recently uploaded at cimfr.nic.in. CIMFR has announced 15 vacancies for Project Assistant posts under various projects. The interview for these posts is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of September 2020. Candidates interested in the recruitment can submit their forms by August 31, 2020.

CIMFR has announced the recruitment for Project Assistant Level 1, Project Assistant Level II and Project Assistant Level III. Aspirants who are appointed under these recruitments will be assigned to a particular project. The interview will be conducted at CSIR-CIMFR, Barwa Road, campus, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The newly appointed candidates get a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/- to Project Assistant-I, Rs. 31,000/- to Project Assistant-II and Rs. 35,000 to Project Assistant – III. Candidates can read about the projects of this recruitment in detail in the official notification, available on the official website.

Those who have Diploma in Mining Engineering or 03 years Bachelors degree in Geology are eligible for Project Assistant-I post. Candidates with B. Sc in Chemistry/ Agriculture/ Environmental Science with 01 years of work experience can also apply for Project Assistant -I. To apply for Project Assistant-II, candidates must have B.E/ B. Tech in Mining/ Computer Science/ Civil/ Information Technology or M Sc/ M. Sc (Tech) in Geology/ Applied Geology. Those who possess B. Tech/ BSc in Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Master in Computer Science can also submit forms for Project Assistant-II. GATE qualified candidates who have BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech in Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering can submit their forms for Project Assistant-III.

Candidates must satisfy the age limit as prescribed by the conducting body. The maximum age limit for Project Assistant Level – I is 50 years and Project Assistant Level-II and Project Assistant Level -III is 35 years as on the date of interview.

The CIMFR application form can be submitted through the offline process only. Candidates have to download the application form from cimfr.nic.in. The form should reach Administrative officer, CSIR-Central Institute of Mining And Fuel Research, Barwa Road, Dhanbad, Jharkhand- 82600 as per schedule. With the form, photocopies of mark sheet and passing certificate of 10th clas, 12th pass certificate and mark sheet, B. Sc or Diploma mark sheet and passing certificate, M. Sc or BE/ B. Tech mark sheet and certificate, experience certificate, caste certificate, valid non-creamy later certificate and EWS certificate should be submitted.
