Indian Air Force is conducting recruitment rally for the local candidates of Gujarat state for Airmen in Group Y Non Technical Grade intake 01/2021

Indian Air Force is conducting recruitment rally to appoint eligible candidates for the Group Y (Non-Technical Trades). The recruitment is announced exclusively for all districts of Gujarat, Union Territory of Daman & Diu and Dadar & Nagar Haveli. Online registrations start from September 08, 2020, onwards. Applications from only unmarried male candidates are invited for the said posts before September 10, 2020. Candidates can download the official notification from Indian Air Force website airmenselection.cdac.in.

The recruitment test for Group Y is announced for Non-Technical Grades except Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air force (Security) and musician trade. The Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally will take place from September 23, 2020, to October 04, 2020. Eligible candidates have to appear for the selection activities at Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force, Makarpura, Vadodara (Gujarat). The schedule for the same is also discussed in the notification.

Before candidates start the online registration process, we suggest reading the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Indian Air Force. To be eligible for Group Y recruitment candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English subject. Those who are born between January 17, 2000, to December 30, 2003, are eligible to appear for the recruitment rally. Moreover, only domicile of Gujarat state and Union Territory of Daman and Diu and Dadar and Nagar Haveli can apply for the said posts. Go through the notification to know about the medical standard and other eligibility criteria.

The application procedure is organized only through the online mode at airmenselection.cdac.in. Eligible candidates shall visit the official website to get the registration/ applications link. Carefully provide all the details as asked in the applications form and submit it. Applications received through any other mode or after the last date are not entertained.

The selection process for Group Y recruitment rally includes physical fitness test, written test, adaptability test-1, adaptability test -2 and medical examination. Eligible candidates have to appear for PFT round where they have complete physical tasks such as running, pushups, situps, squats. All candidates who qualify PFT round are called for the written examination. The scheme of the written examination is available in the notification. The adaptability test is conducted to test whether candidates are able to adapt the geographic terrain, the military way of living. Those who qualify the adaptability test-2 are called for medical examination. The medical examination for the recruitment rally is scheduled to be held in the month of October 2020.
