Indian Air Force is conducting a Recruitment Rally to join the Air Force as Airmen in Group X (Technical Trades). The recruitment is announced for Angul District, Odisha state for Intake 01/2021. As per the notification, only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the said post. The online application is invited from September 08, 2020. Eligible candidates can submit the pre-registration form up to September 10, 2020, on the official web portal. The recruitment of Airmen in Group X (Technical Trade) is not available for Education Instructor trade. Indian Air force Recruitment Rally will take place from September 03, 2020, to October 04, 2020. Applicants who are found eligible as per the application form have to appear for the selection activities at Police Training College, Angul (Odisha). The schedule for the same has been released through the official notification.
Only permanent domicile of Angul, Odisha district can apply for this recruitment rally. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Those who have a Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology /Information Technology) with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in a diploma or in 12th can also apply. Only applications will be able to submit the online applications form through airmenselection.cdac.in. who fulfils the prescribed eligibility.
Moreover, the Indian Air Force has also specified the age limit for the said recruitment as well. Candidates who are born between January 17, 2000, and December 30, 2003 (both days included) can apply for recruitment rally. The selection criteria for the Recruitment Rally for Angul (Odisha) state includes verification of the documents, physical fitness round, written examination, Adaptability Test-1, Adaptability Test-2 and medical examination. First is the verification round in which eligible candidates have to carry their original documents in support of the eligibility, and others. Then, candidates have to appear for the Physical Fitness round (PFT) where they have to perform some physical activated to prove their strength and fitness. Following PFT, a written examination, Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2. All these three tests (written exam, Adaptability tests) is conducted on the same day or subsequent days (depending on local conditions). Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test-2 are called for the medical examination round. The Medical Examination is scheduled in the month of October 2020.
