India Post Announced 3262 Vacancies for Rajasthan Post Gramin Dak Sevak, Apply Online upto July 21, 2020

Candidates who have passed matriculation can send their application online for Rajasthan Circle

India Post, Ministry of Communications is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Gramin Dak Sevak Cycle-II in Rajasthan Circle. For the aforementioned post, Indian Post has announced total 3262 vacancies for the post of Branch Post Master, Assistant Branch Post Master and Dak Sevak. The official notice for the announced posts is available on appost.in/gdsonline. The window for online submission of application has started from June 22, 2020, onwards. Candidates can submit their application form up to July 21, 2020.

The representations for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is accepted only if the candidates are fulfilling the required educational qualification. Willing candidates must have passed 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English. He/she must have studied local language and English up to 10th standard as elective or compulsory subjects. They must have a certificate in a basic computer training course that is issued from any government recognized computer training centre. Those candidates who have studied computer subject till 10th or other higher-level education are not required to furnish the computer training certificate. Candidates willing to apply should be between the age limit of 18 years to 40 years as on June 22, 2020. Age relaxations are allowed as given in the official notification.

The registration link is available on the official website of the India Post which is appost.in/gdsonline. Aspirants have to register themselves after which a unique registration ID is generated. After the registration is done, proceed to pay the online fee and fill up the application form. Applicants who belong to UR/OBC/EWS Male/trans-man category have to pay Rs.100/- whereas Female/Trans-woman/SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the fee submission. The application fee can be submitted through all the recognized Credit/Debit cards and Net Banking facility. Along with the application form, aspirants have to upload certain documents to support their eligibility. They shall upload 10th certificate, 10th mark sheet, Date of birth proof, computer certificate, community certificate, photograph, signature, certificate of disability, certificate of transgender.

The announced vacancies are distributed amongst different categories as per the reservation policy. Out of the total, 278 vacancies are reserved for EWS category, 348 are for OBC, 97 for PWD category, 544 for SC, 468 for ST, and 1527 vacancies for Unreserved category. Those who are appointed as Branch Post Master are provided Rs. 12,000/- as Level-1 Time Related Continuity Allowance(TRCA) and Rs.14,500/- as Level 2 TRCA. Similarly, candidates appointed for Assistant Branch Post Master and Dak Sevak are offered Rs.10,000/- as Level 1 TRCA and Rs.12,000/- as Level 2 TRCA.

The selection for the post of Branch Post Master, Assistant Branch Post Master and Dak Sevak is determined by the automatic generate merit list based on online application. This means that the selection of the candidates depends on the marks secured in the 10th standard to 04 decimals. Any higher educational qualification is not considered for the selection.
