Intelligence Bureau Hiring for Multiple Posts on Absorption and Deputation Basis, Apply Now!

Intelligence Bureau has advertised multiple vacancies in Group A, B & C posts to be filled up on absorption/deputation and short term contract basis

Invitation to send offline applications for recruitment into multiple vacancies of the Intelligence Bureau is out. The agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs is aiming to fill up vacancies in various ranks through absorption/deputation and short term contract basis. The complete details of eligibility and another post related information are provided post-wise in the detailed circular number 1/Estt (G-3)/2020(Cir)-899. In the aforementioned circular, the Intelligence Bureau has advertised openings for the posts of Deputy Director, Senior Research Officer, and many more. The last date of receipt of offline applications is 60 days from the issuance of the Circular i.e. 60 days from June 11, 2020.

The highest number of openings are in the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I/Executive (54), Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/Executive (55), Accountant (24), Junior Intelligence Officer-I/Executive (26) and Multi Tasking Staff (Gunman) (24). Candidates holding analogous posts having a Bachelor’s degree and 02 years of experience in security and intelligence can apply for the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I & II/Executive. The pay scale of these posts is Rs 44,900 to 1,42,400. Candidates who have passed the Subordinate Accounts Service exam (or equivalent) of the Central Government are eligible to apply for the post of Accountant. Such candidates must be holding analogous posts in the respective cadre and experience as specified in the detailed circular. Candidates appointed to the posts of Accountant are placed at the Pay Band 2 of Rs 9300 – 34800 upon selection. Those wishing to apply for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer-I/Executive must be holding analogous posts in the cadre and have completed 05 years of service.

In addition to the above-mentioned posts, the Circular also indicated openings in 02 vacancies in the post of Deputy Director Tech, 02 vacancies in the post of Senior Research Officer, 01 vacancies in the post of Library & Information Officer, 06 vacancies in the post of Security Officer (Technical), 10 vacancies in the post of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Tech,12 vacancies in the post of Assistant Security Officer (Technical), 10 vacancies in the post of Assistant Security Officer (General), 10 vacancies in the post of Personal Assistant, 01 vacancies in the post of Research Assistant, 01 vacancies in the post of Female Staff Nurse, 04 vacancies in the post of Caretaker, 12 vacancies in the post of Junior Intelligence Officer-I (Motor Transport), 12 vacancies in the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Motor Transport), 15 vacancies in the post of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) and 11 vacancies in the post of Halwai-cum-Cook

The selection and appointment of eligible applicants to the aforementioned vacant posts is done on the basis of absorption/deputation and short term contract. In addition to the post-wise eligibility conditions, other details such as the deputation period and pay scale are also indicated for each advertised opening in the Circular. The prescribed proforma of the application form is also provided with the Circular Memorandum published in regards to the recruitment.

Aspiring candidates who comply with the minimum eligibility conditions can send their applications on the printed copy of the proforma. Alongside, each page of the bio-data must be attested by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary. Candidates must enclose copies of APAR/ACRs of the last five years attested by the aforementioned officer, vigilance clearance certificate, integrity certificate and penalty statement of the last 10 years and cadre clearance certificate. All these documents must be sent to the Joint Deputy Director/G, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S.P. Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-21 on or before the last date.
