The last date of registering for UCEED and CEED 2022 has again been extended by IIT Bombay. Candidates who have not registered for the application form can do the same by November 18, 2021. This time too, a late fine of INR 500 is applicable for filling the registration form.
The registration process was commenced on September 09, 2021, and the same has been extended multiple times as of now. The official portal states that the CEED and UCEED 2022 examinations are both scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022, from 9 am to 12 pm in a single shift.
Candidates possessing the basic eligibility have to simply visit the official websites of the opted course. Next, they have to check their eligibility by entering the details provided. After successfully registering themselves candidates can fill the relevant application form with personal details, educational qualifications, relevant documents and then pay the application fee admissible to the course.
The application fee for the unreserved category for UCEED and CEED 2021 is INR 3500 and 3200 respectively. However, a late fine of INR 500 is applicable. The female and reserved category candidates have to pay INR 1750 and 1600 for registering along with a late fine of INR 500.
CEED (Common Entrance Exam of Design) 2022 is conducted for candidates who are willing to pursue the Masters in Design (M.Des) course at the participating colleges. Similarly, UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam of Design) is held for candidates willing to take admissions in the Bachelor’s of Design (B.Des) course offered by the participating colleges.
The candidates after clearing the CEED 2022 can use the scorecard to take admissions in any of the top 5 institutes namely, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IISc Bangalore, and IIITDM Jabalpur in the M.Des course. SImilarly for UCEED 2022, top colleges like IIITDM Jabalpur, IIIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi offer admissions in B.Des. Other than this, several other colleges accept the UCEED to provide admissions in the opted course.
