The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the tentative schedule for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022. The test will be conducted for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture courses. Candidates aspiring to appear for the examination can now check the tentative examination schedule from wbjeeb.nic.in. As per the schedule, the examination will be conducted on April 23, 2022. The online application process will begin on December 21, 2021, and continue till January 07, 2022.

Right after the online application closes on January 07, 2022, the correction period will commence on January 08, 2022. The correction window will remain open for 02 days and the period will end on January 10, 2022. The admit cards for WBJEE 2022 will be released on April 15, 2022. Similarly, the results will be declared in the fourth week of May 2022.
WBJEE 2022 will be in the form of an OMR-based test. Candidates qualifying for this exam will be eligible for undergraduate courses in engineering & technology, pharmacy, and architecture. The institutes recognizing WBJEE 2022 are universities, government colleges along with self-financing engineering & technological institutes in West Bengal. As per sources, the examination will be held in an offline mode. In case the pandemic persists, then the WBJEE 2022 examination will be held adhering to strict precautions.
The schedule also mentions the dates for examination, application, etc. for other exams such as JELET 2022, JEPAS (PG) 2021, JENPAS (UG) 2022, JEPBN 2022, JEMScN 2022, JECA 2022, and ANM & GNM 2022. In 2021, the WBJEE test was the first exam to be held in the offline mode even during the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was held on July 16, 2021, and a total of 92,795 candidates had appeared for the test. Like previous years, for WBJEE 2022, the examination pattern will have two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. The first paper will be on Mathematics while the second one will be on Physics and Chemistry. The total mark for both papers is 200.
