The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the admit cards for the B.Ed. entrance examination 2022. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam can now download the admit cards from the official website – ignou.ac.in. It must be noted the entrance exam for the B.Ed course for January, 2022 is going to take place on May 08, 2022. No separate notification or advertisement has been published by IGNOU. The entrance examination is going to be held for a duration of 02 hours for admission to the B.Ed course.
IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card 2022
The entrance test is going to be conducted all over the country. Admission to the B.Ed course is completely merit-based. After the conclusion of the exam, the nodal regional centre wise merit list is going to be prepared and published.
For downloading the IGNOU B.Ed admit card 2022, the candidate is required to enter their control number or mobile number and date of birth. After downloading the admit cards, it has been instructed to take a printout of the same to the examination centre.

Candidates must note that the reporting time to the examination centres is 9:15 AM. No candidates will be allowed entry after 10:15 AM. The admit card must be preserved and retained in all cases. Examinees must bring their own blue or black ballpoint pen for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Note that cell phones, pagers, calculators or any electronic gadgets are strongly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Admission
Merely appearing for the entrance test does not mean the acceptance of the eligibility of the candidates. Final admission to the IGNOU B.Ed January 2022 course is subject to the merit position and production of eligibility proof at the time of the last date of submission of the application along with original certificates and programme fee. Although the minimum duration of the IGNOU B.Ed January 2022 programme is two years, the maximum period allowed for the completion of the same is five years.
The number of seats at each PSC is limited to 50 only. IGNOU also reserves the right to conduct the examination at different examination centres. Hence, candidates must carefully go through the examination venue carefully after downloading the admit cards. The entire course fee is Rs 55,000 and has to be paid after a separate communication about fee payment is sent to the shortlisted candidates.
