Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to apply for the B.Ed. Entrance Exam 2022. Accordingly, the last date to apply has been postponed to April 24, 2022. Eligible candidates willing to pursue a career in teaching can apply for the entrance test on ignou.ac.in. They have an extra week’s time to fill and submit the form, along with paying the application fee and uploading the required documents.
It is important to note that an extension in registration deadline does not have any effect on the exam date. So, the IGNOU B. Ed. Entrance exam 2022 shall take place on May 08, 2022, as per the existing schedule.

IGNOU B. Ed. 2022 How to Apply?
To apply for the IGNOU B.Ed. entrance test 2022, candidates can use the step-wise process elaborated below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU i.e., ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Register on the website to generate the login credentials. Using these credentials, login to the website to access the application form.
Step 3: Fill the form with personal details along with qualification, programme and correspondence information.
Step 4: Upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the format and dimensions specified by IGNOU.
Step 5: Pay the non-refundable fee amount of Rs.1000 using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
Step 6: Preview the form before clicking on the Save/Print option. Print a copy of the fully-filled application form for future reference.
Only those candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the IGNOU B.Ed. 2022 application form can appear for the entrance test. IGNOU does hold the right of rejecting a candidature in case of false or incorrect information furnished in the form.
