An important update has come to light with respect to the IGNOU B.Sc Nursing Exam 2022. Accordingly, the application deadline to apply for the entrance exam has been extended by a week’s time, to April 24, 2022. As per official information, the entrance exam is all set to take place on May 08, 2022. The extension in deadline will have no effect on the existing exam date.
Additionally, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has also extended the registration deadline for another entrance exam – B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022.
What does the public notice state?
On April 16, 2022, IGNOU issued an official public notice announcing the extension in B.Sc. Nursing 2022 application deadline. The notice was also posted on Twitter by the institute’s official account @OfficialIGNOU. Accordingly,
With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for registration of BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) entrance exam for January 2022 session is hereby extended to April 24, 2022. This issues with the approval of the committee.

Registration for B.Ed and BSCN Entrance Exam for January 2022 Session (Last date – April 24th, 2022).
Candidates are advised to take note of this deadline and submit the application form, accordingly. They are advised to cross-check all details entered in the form before submitting it. No separate correction facility will be given at a later stage. IGNOU will also not be accepting any requests for correction in particulars.
IGNOU B.Sc 2022 How to Apply?
To apply for the IGNOU B.Sc. entrance exam 2022, candidates can use the steps mentioned below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU i.e., ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Register on the website to generate the login credentials. Using these credentials, login to the website to access the application form.
Step 3: Fill the form with personal details along with qualification, programme and correspondence information.
Step 4: Upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the format and dimensions specified by IGNOU.
Step 5: Pay the application fee amount using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
Step 6: Preview the form before clicking on the Save/Print option. Print a copy of the fully-filled application form for future reference.
To apply for the IGNOU B.Sc 2022 entrance exam, candidates must either have-
# A diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) along with at least 2 years of experience in this profession after Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM)

# A diploma in GNM along with 5 years of experience in this profession after RNRM
