Institute of Forest Productivity, Ranchi is inviting applications to fill up 20 vacancies advertised through File No. EST-III-126/2020-21/507. The official recruitment advertisement dated July 22, 2020 is published at the official website i.e. ifp.icfre.gov.in. As per the notice, the the institute is accepting applications for recruitment into 20 posts of LDC, Forest Guard and Multi Tasking Staff. Eligible and interested applicants can forward their applications in the prescribed proforma till September 11, 2020.
As per the official recruitment notification, 20 vacancies are available altogether. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Lower Division Clerk, 06 for the post of Forest Guard and 13 vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Candidates within the age range of 18 to 27 years can apply for the post of LDC. Such candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board and possess a typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on manual typewriter/35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer.
For the post of Forest Guard, candidates must be within the age range of 18 to 27 years and passed Class 12th in Science stream. During the probation period, such applicants must complete the Forestry training course from a recognized Forest Guard Training Institution. In addition, candidates applying for the post of Forest Guard must also meet specified physical standards. Male candidates must be able to walk 25 km in 4 hours, have a minimum height of 165 cms, and a chest of 79cm with expansion up to a minimum of 84 cms. Women candidates must be able to walk 14 km in 4 hours, have a minimum height of 150 cm, and a chest of 74 cms with an expansion of up to 79 cms. Candidates applying for the post of MTS must have passed Class 10 and within the age range of 18 to 27 years. It is desirable that such candidates have at least 03 years of experience in relevant trade.
However, simply fulfiling the minimum eligibility conditions does not confer the right to be called for the selection tests which includes a written examination. The Screening Committee shortlists eligible candidates from the received applications. Shortlisted candidates are intimated about the date, time, and venue of the exam separately. After qualifying the written exams, candidates who apply for the post of LDC and Forest Guard have to qualify through skill tests and physical tests as specified.
