Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducted the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2021 on May 08, 2021, through the remote-proctored mode. However, due to certain technical issues, some candidates couldn’t appear for the examination. Hence, for such candidates, ICSI conducted a re-test on May 10, 2021. Keeping these two factors in mind, ICSI is expected to release the results soon on the official website icsi.edu. Looking at the previous trends, results were usually announced within 4 to 17 days of the exam. The same trend is expected to be followed this year.
Last year, the CSEET examination was conducted two times – August 29 and 30, 2020 and, November 21 and 22, 2020. Results for the August exam were announced on September 17, 2020. On the other hand, ICSI announced the November exam results on November 26, 2020. This year, CSEET was held on January 09, 2021 and results for the same were announced on January 18, 2021. Following these trends, results for the May 2021 exam are expected to come out latest by May 27, 2021. However, no official intimation has been given by the ICSI authorities.
Once announced, candidates can check their results on the official website by entering the required credentials. These credentials include CSEET 2021 registration number and date of birth. Along with the results, ICSI shall also upload the marks scored by each candidate in individual subjects. Authorities shall also be uploading the formal e-statement containing the result and marks of each candidate.
Candidates are advised to download the result page and take a printout of the same for future use. They must also remember that no physical result document shall be issued by ICSI to any candidate. Based on the results, candidates who score a minimum of 40 percent marks in each subject and at least 50 percent aggregate in the overall exam shall be deemed qualified/pass in CSEET 2021.
In other news, ICSI issued an important announcement in the first week of May 2021 regarding the CS June 2021 exams. According to the announcement, the exams which were scheduled from June 01 to 10, 2021 stand postponed. The decision was taken in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising number of cases in the country. With the intention of safeguarding the health and safety of aspirants, ICSI decided to postpone the exams.
A revised examination schedule and time table shall be uploaded by authorities after reviewing the pandemic situation in the country. Furthermore, concerned students shall be notified about the schedule 30 days prior to the commencement of examination. Students were further advised to visit the official website regularly to get their queries resolved.
